SEABOWL - ELECTRIC POWER-SUN CELLS
PRESENT SOLAR TECHNOLOGY http://www.cleanenergy.de/voltaic/distribut.html
At the moment these two companies producing flexible plastics printed photo-reactive materials, which I hope can be used to be partial Seabowl electricity needs. More about their product red below and on their web sites.
KONARKA TECHNOLOGY
Konarka's has developed a manufacturing process
that allows lightweight, lower cost, flexible plastics to be used rather than glass or
silicon (which are the only materials able to withstand the conventional manufacturing
process without disintegrating). Konarka's can manufacture cells quicker and cheaper than
under previous methods,
opening the way for cost-effective mass production. Konarka unique photo-reactive
materials can be printed or coated inexpensively onto these flexible materials using
roll-to-roll manufacturing, similar to how newspaper is printed on large rolls of paper.

Just as newsprint can include text, images, and a variety of colors, Konarka's photovoltaic materials can include a range of colors and patterns. In addition, Konarka's cells can be produced with varying degrees of translucency so they can be customized for use in new products and markets. Konarka's simplified manufacturing process enables production to scale easily and results in significantly reduced costs over previous generations of solar cells. The process is environment-friendly and does not expose the materials to harmful high temperatures. Another significant advantage is that it does not require the invention of a new factory to do this instead it can use existing coating and printing machines and technologies. Finally, solar cells can be produced and used virtually anywhere, enabling production even in regions where supporting infrastructure is generally thought to be insufficient. The result is a KONARKA http://www.konarka.com
NANOSOLAR TECHNOLOGY
Nanosolar's PV panels closely match the performance and durability that customers have come to expect from conventional silicon technology -- yet at substantially improved cost efficiency. Nanosolar PV panels are also designed to be easy to install and beautiful: They have a homogeneously black appearance, which looks far better than the broken-glass look of typical PV module on the market today.

Their solar electricity ubiquitous by delivering the world's most cost-efficient solar panels with process technology of unprecedented production volume scalability.

By making it possible to simply print solar cells that can deliver as much energy and lifetime as conventional silicon cells, Nanosolar has developed the capability to dramatically multiply the process throughput possible in the production of solar panels--and achieve unprecedented cost and production volume scalability advantages. Nanosolars products are designed to streamline integration, distribution, and installation. Depending on a customers system configuration, this can realize significant further total-system cost savings. The result is a NANOSOLAR http://www.nanosolar.com
